Sir,
I have the honour to report that I have granted
to Dr. John Bell, Superintendent, Government Civil Hospital, a pension at the rate of $2,158.33 per annum (at 38.8d. to the dollar = £395.13.1ld) with effect from the 23rd December, 1914, and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed
to issue payments to him as they become due.
Dr. Bell has been granted two months and twenty-
two days' vacation leave prior to retirement.
